Power consumption and calorific value limits of cabinet devices

Update:27-09-2024
Summary:

The power consumption and heat generation limit design […]

The power consumption and heat generation limit design of cabinet equipment should comply with the provisions of the following table:

 Unit  Space between     Unit area                     Maximum current of a                Unit area                   Maximum

                  columns        Average power       single cabinet(Voltage 220V)    Maximum power         equipment

 1               ≥1100mm            ≤2kVA/m²      ≤18A/pc             ≤4.0kVA/pc    ≤18pc/pc

 2              ≥1000mm            ≤1.5kVA/m²     ≤14A/pc             ≤3.1kVA/pc    ≤16pc/pc

 3              ≥1000mm            ≤1kVA/m²      ≤10A/pc              ≤2.2kVA/pc    ≤14pc/pc

Note: 1. When the power of a single cabinet exceeds 4kVA/cabinet, the column spacing should be adjusted according to the heat generated by the cabinet;

          2. If the requirements in 1. above cannot be met, the number of equipment in series can be adjusted.

 Cabinet grounding should comply with the following requirements:

1.The metal cabinet should be grounded, and a grounding terminal should be reserved for connecting the cabinet and the machine room grounding copper bar.

2.Each side of the cabinet should use a special grounding cable to connect the grounding terminal in the cabinet to the grounding copper bar in the computer room. Series cable connection is not allowed.

3.The grounding resistance  value of the equipment room should meet the requirements of the functional grounding resistance value of the equipment.should be greater than 1.0Ω.
