Contrary to the cold aisle, the hot aisle is to set up separate channels in the heat release direction of the equipment to discharge the hot air from the back of the rack. Its main features are as follows:

1.The waste of heat consumption is less, and it is more energy-saving than the cold aisle.

2.The heat of IT equipment is effectively controlled and eliminated, which helps improve the stability and life of the equipment.

3.Needs to handle the heat emitted to mildly heat the data center environment.

4.With cold aisle, the thermal balance of the data center can be achieved.

Combining hot aisles and cold aisles can achieve thermal balance in the data center and maintain the temperature range required for stable operation of the data center.

Arrange the cabinets back-to-back and close the hot aisle formed by the hot air area. Considering the safety of the computer room, the hot aisle is an area where heat is concentrated, so under normal circumstances, forced ventilation is required to return it to the air conditioner. This method is rarely used in practical applications. In addition to safety considerations, there are also complex and cumbersome construction linkage considerations, so it is generally not recommended for customers to use it.
